Personal Background

Elsie

This memorial website was created by Carolyn Sharp in loving memory of her grandmother  Elsie Mae Genn "Nanny".

Elsie was born on 04/13/1925 and sadly passed away on 02/18/2008 at the age of 82.

Elsie is missed greatly by family and friends and will be remembered forever in our hearts. We all love and miss you dearly but also know you are in a better place. Our mother, grandma, aunt, dear friend, she now shines bright above us with all the glory she has earned threw the years. We have all enjoyed the always friendly smile she had no matter if you were a stranger, family member. Her heart and doors were always open to any one that was brought into her home. We have all had our hearts broken with her loss, the tears still come once in a while to most of use, although she'd want us not to cry, but remember the happy times we shared with her threw the years. Some have had more time with her in life, she now shines brightly over us all, one day we all will see her shinny face again in the after life, until then we  have only the beautiful memories of her the time we were gave, will be so precious to all that knew her and loved her, i'm adding this along with my daughter carolyn that made this site avaiable for all to see and express their memories of our lovin angel.

Carolyn Sharp - Gee so many memories i have had with my loving grandmother i don't even know where to start. I spent alot of my childhood times with her. My nanny always accepted people for who they were and always welcomed others into her home without passing judgement. When it was time for me to have my first child she was there with me threw thick and thin during the whole labor process...don't know what i would of done without her there by my side to help. I miss you dearly and am still saddened and cry at times when i look at your pictures by my bedside. You are loved deeply and missed and will forever remain in my heart. May you rest in peace...I love you...till we meet again in a far better place.
